John touched a lot of people…

John - High Roller staff member and friend for 25 years!

John Miekoski - High Roller staff member and friend for 25 years!

On behalf of Chet & Carol, Wendy, Buzz, Chuck, Julius and the entire High Roller staff, myself and my family,  we would like to thank everyone for their kind words, and many great stories, about John Miekoski.

We worked with John for many, many years but aside from that we were friends with him.  A lot of socializing took place in those years outside of a bowling center, and we will miss him!

We are glad to hear from everyone that they too will miss him and had a lot of fun with him!

See you all this summer,

Brad Edelman

John Miekoski, Special Events Director for High Roller, Inc

John Miekoski, Special Events Director for High Roller, Inc., passed away Saturday, April 3.

A member of the High Roller staff since 1988, John joined the firm after bowling in High Roller tournaments since 1984. He lived in Las Vegas since 1988, moving from New Jersey when he started working with High Roller. He became an Assistant Director, until being named Special Events Director in the late ’90’s.

John worked very closely with the Edelman family and Chet and Carol Hensor as a key employee until he became ill this past January. He was 54 years old.

“John will be missed tremendously by our staff and the thousands of bowlers he had made friends with during his long association with High Roller,” stated Brad Edelman. “John was part of our family and will be remembered always.”
