Everything is in place for another October Senior Team Classic at South Point! We’re looking forward to greeting over 1,700 bowlers! Here is some important info to make your trip more enjoyable:

Avoid check-in lines – lane assignments, averages and schedules will be available on your confirmations starting Friday, September 26. View & print them here or by clicking on Your Personal Confirmation Here!

Please check in at the tournament if we need any personal info including social and birth date. You can’t receive prizes, including Brackets, without that info on file.

900 Global has announced the Origin EX for sale during the tournament.

Time is running out to save money on optional entry fees as they increase $10 each if paid onsite.
There are still team spots available and there are still teams looking for a 4th bowler. Contact us if interested.
Reminder for anyone not in a league in this new season 2025-26, make sure you purchase a $5 USBC membership card at the tournament.
You can ship your equipment to South Point Pro Shop, 9777 S. Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89183. Ship home from the IAM Bowling booth.
Although there is no specific dress code, all are asked to dress respectfully towards other bowlers, guests, spectators and sponsors.

Rule change – as published, bowlers can cash in both the main Singles prize list and the Scratch Singles prize list. And it is the same for the main and Scratch All-Events prize lists. Bowlers will now receive the highest possible prize in each.

Announcing the 2025 October Seniors Oil Pattern, and for the tournament – the Storm 900 Global Origin EX Bowling Ball!

Good grief! Another change? Yep, a big one!

In the past 2 weeks, you have heard from us about 2 new squads added to accommodate 60 more teams.

Well, they are also now filled with more teams on Standby that would love to come and bowl. We hate to turn them down!

So, here are the new changes:

1. Moving all Sweepers & No Taps back to 9 pm

2. Open up Squads G & H to accommodate 60 teams in each squad

3. Previously to this change, the teams in G & H couldn’t bowl the Sweepers separately and couldn’t bowl any of the No Taps.

As usual, we expect some team cancellations over the next few months so if you have a team that needs other squads, let us know and we’ll get you on our Standby list.

Whoops! There was an error in the original brochure sent out last week but it is fixed now in the October brochure. The years that we are accepting averages were a year off but the proper years are now available to view. Here are the corrected rules:

Accepted Averages – Players use their highest USBC winter average, of at least 21 games from 2023/24 or 2024/25.
Players may request to use a summer average if no winter average with minimum 21 games.
Players without a league average in the past 2 seasons may request to use an average from 2021/22 or 2022/23 with a 10-pin penalty for each year.

2026 Military Bowling Championships – dates coming soon

Big news for the Active Duty & Vets Division splitting into 2 totally separate divisions by age: 59 & Under and 60 & Over. All eligibility rules will be featured in the brochure coming soon.
The AD/Vets Division will bowl in the Plaza and the Retired & Senior Retired divisions bowl in the Bowling Center, of course all at South Point!

2025 August Military Team Classic

Many teams have already come off of the Standby list to join us in August.

What?? Another added squad???

You heard from us last week about adding Squad Gand now Squad H is open in the 2025 October Senior Team Classic!

All other squads are currently filled, so new Squad H is now available for Team, Doubles & Singles at 5 pm each evening on Wednesday, Thursday & Friday, October 8, 9 & 10. 30 lanes will be available to accommodate 30 more teams.

As usual, we expect some team cancellations over the next few months so if you have a team that needs other squads, let us know and we’ll get you on our Standby list.

30 lanes are still plenty of lanes for Sweepers and NoTaps but they are limited to 8 to a pair. If you are bowling in a Team, Doubles or Singles squad at 5pm, you can enter the Sweepers and use the same scores. You have to pay the Sweeper entry fee. Unfortunately, those 5pm bowlers can’t enter the No Taps.

Join us for another High Roller event for age 50 & over bowlers of all averages! There are still limited spots left so it’s not too late to enter a team! Contact us for squad availability. Pick the 3-day shift you want and call us to reserve October 3, 4 & 5 or 6, 7 & 8 or 9, 10 & 11. Which 3 days work for you!

Want to bowl but not on a team? There are several teams still searching for another player to fill their team. Forward an application to us from the Enter Tournament page and we can get you on a team!

Can you skip the check-in line? Starting October 1 – your confirmation & schedule will include your lane assignments and average for Team, Doubles & Singles!

Skip the long check-in lines unless you are entering side events or need to give requested information.

Things to know…

DRESS CODE! The dress code is casual as shorts, hats and t-shirts are allowed as long as they are considered respectful towards the other bowlers, sponsors & guests!
